It started out quite oddly my dog painting adventure…..I’d been painting my children and someone asked me on Instagram if I would paint their beloved pooch. That seemed to open a flood gate and I was inundated by friends and strangers wanting a portrait of their dog.
Strangely this also coincided with my own beautiful Labrador’s death ….. I know everyone loves their own dogs but believe me this one was special….Weird how much we love them, how they are such an enormous part of your life a constant uncompromising loving companion and then they are gone. I haven’t painted her yet but I’m channelling something that comes from that connection we had into these commissions. If you are interested in a painting of your special Dog please contact me.
